NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC
The municipality of Tangalan will conduct a Public Hearing on the Revised Comprehensive Land Use Plan (CLUP) and Zoning Ordinance for the planning period 2012-2021 on December 14, 2012, 1:00 o’clock in the afternoon at the Mayor’s Hall, Municipal Building, Poblacion, Tangalan, Aklan. This activity is a requisite as provided in Section 59 of the Local Government Code of 1991. Likewise LGUs are mandated to formulate the long-term, medium-term and annual socioeconomic development plans and policies by the same code.
The said CLUP and Zoning Ordinance are the municipality’s roadmap to its desired development in terms of its land and water uses not compromising its environmental impact and the adaptability to climate change as well as appropriate disaster risk reduction management.
Concerned parties (property owners and developers, as well as individuals, groups and/or organizations) that have suggestions, proposals and comments are herewith invited to the said public hearing.
