Welcome to the Official Website for the Municipality of Tangalan.  Tangalan is located in the Western Visayas region of the Philippines on the Island of Panay in the Province of Aklan. It is nestled between the capital city of Kalibo which hosts the famous Ati-atihan Festival and the world renowned white sand beaches of Boracay Island.

This webstite provides information on the Community Based Ecotourism Program, which features the beauty of Tangalan’s various natural wonders. Ecotourism destinations include the cool and clear waters of Jawili Falls and the white sands of Jawili and Bughawi Beaches. You can also visit the unique wave-rock formations at Afga Point, one of the country’s most successful reforestation projects, and the first ever Coral Garden Project inside Tangalan’s 375 hectare Marine Sanctuary.
